2009 ~ Sunday... a gray morning... a storm is on the way...a
fine snow
begins in the late afternoon and continues softly falling all
day...
Many birds gather round the birdfeeder along with the little
red squirrel.

It's a good
day for cat naps!

was a gathering place for people and dogs.

the snow is beginning to melt in patches.

tugboat was pulling a huge barge out to sea from
the Kennebunk River.

Chippy suddenly
appeared as I was heading over to the
house...we both froze!

March 20,
2009 ~ Friday...clear and cold for the first day of spring,
we still have snow in the yard but also patches of ground.

The sea breeze
made it extra cold
when we took a walk on the beach
this afternoon...glad I had the scarf
my Mom made to wrap around me
many times...brrr it was cold for the
1st day of spring!

2009 ~ Saturday...sun, blue skies, windy and very wintry cold

It actually
looked like a summer day at
Gooch's Beach, The sky was dotted with
colorful kites as families and dogs and
beachcombers enjoyed the sun and clear
blue skies. The air was very cold like a
winter day!

2009 ~ Sunday...sun, clouds, very cold and a brief snow squall

The waves
were beautiful at the beach today!

March 23,
2009 ~ Monday, blue skies and the high temperature was about
30 degrees.

We put a
bunch of apples we had saved through the
winter in the yard for the birds... this robin had alot to
choose from!

2009 ~Tuesday...sunny and cold

After attending
a Paul Sullivan piano concert in Wells, we were
heading home and stopped by the side of the road to take in this
view,
