This morning
at 11 am. many brave people of all ages took a plunge into the
ocean at Gooch's Beach,
Kennebunk, to raise money for a charity, "Caring Unlimited".

First thing
this morning, I opened the shades
in the studio and I glancethrough the upstairs
window, to see this magical sight!
A mourning dove sitting in the plate that the
ornamental frog was holding!
After a walk
on the beach ( without freezing)
we took a ride down Ocean Av. and to our
amazement, we saw many bluebirds....
they were eating flies that swarmed in
great numbers. How very unusual to see both
in mid-January in Maine.
