seen many birds here and was thrilled to notice
this woodpecker outside the upstairs window at my
parents home.

on Sunday, January 25th.
Met Dave at Tower Hill Arboretum in Boylston, Massachusetts,
where there is a wonderful Orangerie Greenhouse...a great contrast
to the snow and bitter cold outside.
Reunited with
my kitties in the evening!
January 26 to
28th, 2009 ~ Monday thru Wednesday
Happy to be home but miss my family in Connecticut!
Having been away a month, it's taking me a long time to settle
back in.
Much sorting
and reorganizing to do. Sorry I haven't been able to keep up
with
my journal. Hopefully, I will be organized soon.
Today is Wednesday,
January 28th, 2009 and it snowed all day.
When I started out to walk over to my studio tonight, I was surprised
to find the path
treacherous with ice! Back inside to put on my ice cleats. Am
visiting Ellie May!

This month flew
by and I wasn't able to keep up with my journal.
Being away from home for so long set me back and I'm still trying
to catch up
and organize, work on new art work and commissions.
A new month is
tomorrow and I hope you visit me in February!
