	THE FIRE HOUSE Another friend, with a place on Beacon Hill, had a wonderful view of the old firehouse on River St. if you climbed up on the roof.. Nice way to spend a warm early autumn Monday afternoon. Present firehouses will never have this tremendous character. The building speaks of it's mission. I loved sitting up there and drawing the myriad of loving details built into that archtecture. HOME
