	LEA'S PLACE My friend Lea when to Greece for the summer and generously lent me her room in a giant Victorian house on Gardener Rd. in Brookline. It was surrounded by large stately shade trees and felt like a taste of the countryside amid the city concrete. A great place for walks on warm windy summer nights. What a wonderful oasis from the urban oven-like heat.   HOME
